If you read a claim on any other site that says "FREE Home Delivery" be cautious.  Ask specifically what their claim means.  Here are definitions for every delivery phrase on our site.  Feel free to call Toll Free 1-800-470-8911 if you still have questions.   

• You have several options when considering delivery of your new Pride or Golden lift chair. The standard free shipping is called "curbside delivery". The delivery for curbside means tht the chair will be delivered to your location, often outside the building.
  
• Your first option is "in-home delivery". This means a truck line will deliver DIRECTLY INTO your location ONLY WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET THE ITEM IN YOUR DOOR WITHOUT UNBOXING. The delivery person is required only to deliver the item into the building, not place it in a specific location or deliver upstairs.  In most cases all that remains to be done is to unbox the chair and it will be ready to use. Most customers unbox the chair and install the 9 volt batteries for backup at any convenient time.
  
• Your second option provides for "In-Home Delivery & Setup" service. The cost for this service varies by the manufacturer and is shown under the options prices for each model of chair. The manufacturer will provide you with the contact information for an in home set up technician. Once your chair has been delivered by the shipping company you may contact the technician and arrange to have the technician unbox your chair, install the battery backup and position the chair where you want it.
  
• With the standard free delivery service even if you have contracted for the In-Home "White Glove" service, there can be obstacles or problems to delivery. For example, the shipping company is NOT required to deliver inside if there are stairs present or if there is not an unobstructed pathway into the home. This can create problems for some of our customers if they don't have someone available to help in case there is an issue.
  
• Your third option guarantees delivery and setup, in your home, with no problems. The charge for this service is posted in the options section of each chair. In this case lift chairs 101 will have your chair shipped to and delivered by our 2 person "White-Glove Delivery & Setup Service" Setup Team. With this service, your lift chair is guaranteed to be delivered into any room of your home, unboxed and setup, and the cartons removed.
  
• Your lift chair will come with one-year of in-home factory authorized service in addition to the standard warranty for both parts and labor provided by the manufacturer.
